“Detric is doing pretty good. Still has some side effects from the chemo and radiation- nerve damage, memory loss, etc. He also suffers from migraines.

Now in the 6th grade and going to do part-time online school and part-time at the middle school with his friends.

He is still a huge video game fanatic!

But now has a giant flat screen tv (that is over 3 feet across) to play his xbox 360, Playstation 2, Wii, and GameCube on. Plus he has a PSP and a DS and several Gameboys. He wants to be a video game tester even more now when he grows up.

Celebrating 5 years in remission on August 19th!

He is loving that we adopted a dog, Starlet who had been abused and on the streets and we just got a betta fish named Blu.

He is doing awesome in karate! I don't know how he remembers all those moves in the right order but he is fantastic. Passed his first belt test perfectly and is now getting ready for his 2nd belt test.” – Detric’s Mom
