Enhance your online giving efforts!

1. Set up your child’s own webpage.
With a student's own webpage, friends and family, near and far, will help increase the number of donations they can collect. But some help from an adult will be needed to set up the page.

Click on the DONATE tab at the top of the website to find your school. Once you get to your school page, you can:

• Join a classroom. Find the classroom teacher’s name from a drop down list to register.  You will also automatically get your own fundraising page.  You will get your own unique URL in a reply email.
• If your school has not set up any classrooms, follow the steps to join as an individual.

2. Use Social Media

Leverage your social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) to help support your child’s fundraising efforts. Make sure you include your child’s fundraising webpage address. Don’t forget to thank your supporters whenever they contribute on social, which give you another opportunity to remind your network to donate. You'll be surprised at how many people will donate!

• My [son’s/daughter’s] school is participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Student Series fundraising campaign. Please support [his/her] efforts in the fight against blood cancers by donating: [insert link to donation page]
• Every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer. My [son’s/daughter’s] wants to help change that number and is fundraising for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Student Series campaign. Please support [his/her] efforts in the fight against blood cancers by donating: [insert link to donation page]

3. Send a Fundraising Email

Who do you know? Brainstorm and make a list of your potential donor network! A donor network is a list of friends, family members, neighbors, etc. who you plan to ask to donate to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
