Roel Vargas

Roel is an active 1st grader at Tobias Elementary in Kyle, Texas. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on March 31, 2011 and underwent chemotherapy for 39 months. He is currently in remission since June 2014! Some of Roel's favorite hobbies include bike riding, playing XBOX and matchbox cars with his friends. He also enjoys spending time with his family and playing outside. Roel would like to inspire other cancer patients, like himself, to continue fighting. He is a determined student to find a cure for blood cancer.
