My name is Micah and I am a third-grader at West Elementary School in Spearfish, South Dakota. I was diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukemia) in November of 2007. Treatment was very tough, I had lots of chemo that was pretty hardcore. My family and I made it through though, and I’ve been in remission now for 7 years! I love video games, books and dancing. My favorite foods are cheeseburgers and mashed potatoes. I have two siblings, one older and one younger, so I’m stuck in the middle! LLS has been a great resource for me and my family throughout my cancer treatment.
