Stratford School Fremont Curtis Campus in Fremont, California, has participated in The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pennies for Patients campaign for 5 years! In 2014-15 Stratford’s Fremont Curtis campus hosted its fifth annual Jog-A-Thon to benefit the Pennies for Patients campaign. The campus raised $25,000, the most ever raised in the Greater Bay Area Chapter, making the campus the number-one fundraising school for the chapter for 2014-15. In Stratford’s Fremont Curtis campus’s 5 years of participation they have raised over $68,000 for LLS Pennies for Patients campaign. To celebrate and commemorate the milestone, Stratford Fremont Curtis campus principals kissed a pig, a promise they made to students if the campus reached its $25,000 fundraising goal.
