For motivated high school students, Students of the Year is the leadership development and philanthropy program that ensures they stand out among peers when engaging with colleges and/or future employers. Through guidance and mentoring from experienced professionals at LLS - the non-profit with a track record of innovation and success - they will make a real impact in the fight against blood cancers.
In 2017, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Georgia Chapter hosted its 2nd Annual Students of the Year campaign in the Atlanta market. 30 outstanding students signed up to participate in the event, raising over $426,000 for LLS in six short weeks!
Congratulations to our 2017 Students of the Year winners, Sophie Blasberg & Molly Levine of Pace Academy (pictured left), who raised $118,869; to our Runner-Up, Hallee Becher of Johns Creek High School (pictured center), who raised $85,382; and to our Mission Awareness Award winners, Libby Mitchell & Ellie Munson of Atlanta Girls' School (pictured right).
