A Student Series Honored Hero is someone who provides inspiration, motivation and support to fundraising schools through Pennies for Patients, Pasta for Pennies and Collect for Cures programs. An Honored Hero is a school-aged boy or girl living in Louisiana or Mississippi who is a survivor of or is being treated for blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease or myeloma.
