Maripaz – 12, ALL

Six years after her initial diagnosis, and four years after a relapse, Maripaz is now in full remission. Despite having undergone chemotherapy, radiation and a bone marrow transplant, she is still cheerful, and has big dreams for her future: she wants to create a more peaceful and safer environment in the world. But until then, she loves to spend her time learning science and history, playing her cello and building with Legos.
