Meet Matt!
Matt was an active 11 year old before he was admitted to CHOP in January of 2011 and diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He began his journey, months of chemotherapy followed by radiation, until he reached remission. Matt took on the challenge of beating cancer with a positive attitude and never ending resilience. He is now a senior in high school and wants to help raise funds, with his family, for better treatments and a cure so all children can live life to their potential.
Meet Coco!
Coco was diagnosed with JMML in December 2009, at just three months old. She underwent treatment and a bone marrow transplant at CHOP, spending 6 months in the hospital. She had a long recovery, but is now 7, in first grade and in 100% remission - a cancer survivor! She has a brother, Nick, sister, Angelina and a dog named Bella. She loves gymnastics, playing with her friends, playing soccer and diving for her local swim team. She enjoys tortellini, tacos, pizza, ice cream and blue water ice. She enjoys life and is an extremely hard worker. She wants to be a doctor, a gymnastics coach, and go to 2028 Olympics, just not sure for what sport yet!
