Jordan’s mom, Jillian, writes…”Jordan was born on November 7, 2007. From that day on, he changed the life of everyone he came in contact with. 

When Jordan was just 9 months old, he was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder, causing both physical and developmental disabilities. He also had a severe heart condition. At just 18 months old, he underwent open heart surgery to repair part of his aorta. Everyone thought that would be his biggest battle. 

Unfortunately, it proved not be his hardest. On July 24, 2014, Jordan was diagnosed with Burkitt's Leukemia, a rare form of childhood blood cancer. 

That day, Jordan was sent immediately to Boston Children’s Hospital to receive treatment, including chemotherapy.  He remained in hospital through summer, fall and finally celebrated when he was allowed to go home the day before Christmas and finish his treatments with family and friends! 

In the last 7 years Jordan has overcome so much. He grows and learns more every day. He is, by far, the sweetest boy you could ever meet.”

Jordan returned to school in January and his classmates made sure they brought in enough change to support him and win the celebration lunch for Pennies for Patients!  He loves playing with his younger brother, riding bikes and taking walks with his parents, legos, super heroes – and is a huge fan of Taylor Swift!  Jordan just exudes love; has a bright, infectious smile – and personality - that embraces everyone he meets!
