Dante
On May 30, 2013, Dante, age 14, was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. During the first year of treatment, he had several obstacles to overcome, but his strong determination and lifetime of athletic training helped him conquer many difficult side effects. Dante is currently in remission and will continue to be treated until October, 2015. When you meet Dante, one thing that really stands out is his genuine smile and appreciation for the simple things in life. After being in a wheel chair for many months, he is back on the football field, where he received a sportsmanship award for his courage.
At 6’4, 250lbs, Dante has a non-negotiable message for cancer – "YOU ARE NOT WELCOME IN OUR COMMUNITY!”
